I don’t tend to interfere in what you and your partner choose to do on your day, because it’s your wedding and you can do whatever you like with it. I won’t rush people, contrive situations, or move guests around to suit me. I want your photographs to be representative of the reality of your day, as far as possible, albeit from my perspective (since I hold the camera).
If people are talking amongst themselves, singing ‘here comes the bride’, knocking back drinks (/cake), or going bum-over-bosoms on the dance floor, then that is what you will receive in the photographs I deliver. It is the natural interactions that take place on a day of such momentous joy and elation that I am most committed to capturing.
Think of me as the photographer for you when you don’t really want a wedding photographer.
