How will you approach our wedding?

My intention is to be as unobtrusive as possible so that I can get to the honest truth of your day and so that your photographs are an accurate representation of what occurred, how it felt and the little moments and details that made your wedding unique and your own.

I hope to be mistaken for an over eager guest with a new camera. I like to blend in and capture the entirety of the day in a documentary/photojournalist kind of style to the extent that it is not apparent that I’m your professional photographer.

If it’s hundreds of posed or group photographs that you want, I’m probably not your best choice.

I do think there is a place for a small number of group photographs of some of the close family and/or friends that have attended your wedding, so please feel free to ask this of me! I just don’t believe you need a professional photographer to capture group photographs of every guest or multiple combinations of different groups, although I can if that is what you would like, but it will mean there will be less time for spontaneous photographs to be captured, and your delivered photographs may not reflect my previous work. My suggestion is to spend around 20-30 minutes on group photographs, which is roughly 6 difference combinations (give or take).

Alternatively, I suggest you ask or even hire a close family member, friend or local amateur photographer to spend the time coordinating and taking these kinds of photographs.

How would you describe your style?

Relaxed, unobtrusive, honest, and raw. I won’t boss you around, tell you what to do on your day, or set up inauthentic scenes. I will simply be present and responsive to whatever happens.

How many photographs will we receive?

I don’t limit the number of photographs I take or deliver, because that will always depend on the specific circumstances of the day, but I can give a conservative estimate that you will receive between 40 and 60 photographs per hour.

I believe it is more important to deliver quality over quantity, so that every photograph you receive has been taken, selected, and processed with the utmost care and consideration.

How long until you deliver our photographs?

I will deliver your fully processed photographs within 6-8 weeks of your wedding, often sooner, depending on the season.

After final delivery, you will have the opportunity to make purchases of prints, albums, or framed photographs through the online gallery where your photographs are delivered. If you have something in particular in mind that you cannot locate in the store, just get in contact and I’m sure I can help you with it.

What area do you serve?

The majority of weddings that I photograph are in the Wollongong/Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands, or Sutherland Shire regions of NSW. I do and can travel to all areas of NSW.

I have also photographed weddings in Victoria, South Africa, and Bali. If you are planning a wedding outside of NSW or overseas, do get in touch and I’ll provide you with a custom package according to your specific circumstances.

Travel fees are calculated according to those circumstances, including destination, airfares, fuel, accommodation, car hire and any other expenses incurred as a result of your wedding location. 

Are you inclusive?

I am pro love and am therefore ecstatically supportive of whoever and however you choose to marry. I am also happy to accommodate any requests you may have that would make you, your partner, and/or your guests more comfortable / seen / understood / etc.

Bookings are not secured until your non-refundable booking fee has been received and contract signed. Booking dates are confirmed on a first booking fee received basis.

Additional coverage or add-ons requested after final payment must be paid for in full before your photographs will be processed. No photographs will be supplied without receiving payment in full.
